We are looking for a Senior Account Manager – Industrial Automation & Digital Solutions - Brunei to make a difference!

What will you do?
- Promote and sell relevant industrial automation offers to meet/exceed order intake targets. Core offers include process control, safety systems and associated services. Special focus to grow sales of Digital offers including Cybersecurity services, Industrial Digital Transformation consulting services, software solutions (Aveva) etc in key accounts.
- Promote relevant Schneider Electric (SE) offers in the Energy & Chemicals segment, focusing especially on process automation, power systems and associated services.
- Employ a strong account management approach including to maintain and execute account plans for key customer accounts. Grow C-level customer relationships, even if not expected to be the stakeholder owner.
- Maintain ongoing communication with broader SE team in Brunei for good customer experience and value maximization across SE
- Employ a Customer First outside-in approach to selling – first understand customer frictions/needs, then recommend solutions to address these.
- Develop and execute strategy to grow industrial automation sales in Brunei beyond existing installed base accounts – under-developed segments, new GTM approaches.
- Maintain updated data in Salesforce for own opportunities to enable accurate sales analytics, sales forecasting and business planning

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Min 8 years of experience in industrial automation, including directly leading end-user sales pursuits.
- Good understanding of distributed control systems, safety systems and cybersecurity. Note: Deep technical knowledge is not necessary as this role will work with subject matter experts.
- Good understanding of software solutions. Experience with Aveva is a plus.
- Experience in Energy & Chemicals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with responsive attitude to customers.
- Experience working in a matrix organization, with strong leadership skills to effectively lead cross-functional opportunity teams.
- Enjoys constant learning, challenges and has a problem-solving mindset.
- Existing relationships with end-users, EPCs or system integrators in Brunei is a plus.
- Experience in Power & Grid and/or Water & Wastewater segments is a plus.
- Able to drive to key customer locations
