Job summary/Purpose
The Stockroom Assistant manages the proper rotation of goods according to company regulations. He/she supports the Stockroom Manager in all the responsibilities regarding the Stockroom and the Store. Moreover, he/she deals with sales and therefore supports the Sales Assistant in order to maximize sales.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the care and protection of the product according to company guidelines;
- Ensure the day-to-day management of goods receipt, storage in line with company procedures and prepares the products to be brought to the sales floor and in special areas optimizing the timing efficiency;
- Ensure that shop-to-shop and return transfers are compliant with company guidelines and timelines;
- Manage the flow of E-Commerce orders (Prada.com or e-Tailers) making sure to guarantee the required service levels (where applicable);
- Manage the flow of special stocks (damaged products, on hold, consignment and products under repair)
- Manage and organize the Packaging and Stationery, system Display objects, uniform flows, flow of gifts on the IT systems;
- Guarantee the correct protection and the correct packaging of the product both inside the store and for transfers including E-Commerce shipments;
- Ensure that the company guidelines are adopted in the event of theft, especially in terms of communication and documentation produced;
- Ensure prompt investigation in the event of system negatives;
- Ensure the correct flow of the product and the related documentation, recording their movement in the IT system;
- Organize, manage and execute the Physical and Cycle Inventories of the finished product and accessory locations (packaging / stationery and Engineering materials) respecting the company timing;
- Implement effective stocks organization with a commercial perspective e.g. best sellers or new launches to be more visible and accessible
- Manage stockroom activities related to sales;
- Ensure security and cleanliness of the stockroom;
- Maintain contacts and relationships with the providers used;
- Keep updates and organize the archive on a monthly basis;
- Be familiar with product merchandise (all categories) to support Client Advisors in the sales process and collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team in case of need;
- Be responsible for implementing KPIs updates, guidelines and company procedures from the relevant Store Operations Manager, from the Store Manager or from the Headquarters;
