As Project Site Manager at KIN, you will take the lead on a high-impact project to oversee the erection of large-scale clear span structures and custom designed structures and ensuring the successful installation of essential event facilities. You will manage and coordinate with third-party contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to guarantee that the project is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight:
Direct and manage the construction of extensive temporary structures, ensuring all project phases are executed according to the plan, timeline, and budget. - Vendor Coordination:
Supervise and collaborate with third-party contractors and vendors. Monitor their performance to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards. - Stakeholder Liaison:
Serve as the main contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction. - Site Management:
Oversee all site operations, including safety, groundworks, and construction activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices. - Quality Assurance:
Implement and uphold quality control procedures to guarantee that all construction work meets required standards and specifications. - Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, safety records, and compliance checks. Prepare and present detailed updates to senior management and stakeholders. - Issue Resolution:
Identify and address any project-related issues or challenges promptly to minimize impact on the project timeline and deliverables. - Compliance:
Ensure all construction activities adhere to local regulations, safety standards, and company policies. - Project Sign-Off:
- Oversee the final User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase to ensure that all project deliverables meet agreed specifications and requirements. Provide formal sign-off upon successful completion of UAT.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record in supervising large-scale projects and managing third-party contractors.
- Experience with temporary structures and large-scale event setups.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and construction best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and contractors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with vendors, stakeholders, and team members.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage various aspects of the project simultaneously.
- Ability to identify, address, and resolve issues effectively to keep the project on schedule.
Preferred Skills:
- Relevant certifications in construction management including relevant safety certifications
- Previous experience in constructing event-related infrastructure or similar temporary facilities.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
