Job Description:

  • Ensure accurate billing of hall fees and other payable items for student accommodation as well as processing refunds for early withdrawals.
  • Review customer outstanding records and aging report regularly and conduct prompt debt recovery measures.
  • Engage residents/ stakeholders on their queries/ requests received via various channels (e.g. ServiceNow, over the counter, phone calls and emails) and ensure quality resolution within stipulated SLA (service-level-agreement) requirements. Cases include requests for waiver of late fees, instalment payments and lifting of barring for course registration.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process such as raising of purchase requisitions, performing goods receipt, and ensuring prompt payment to vendors. Assist in preparation of tender documents such as requirement specifications where necessary and ensuring purchase orders for completed work are closed in time for year-end financial year closing.
  • Support other corporate services and service management from time to time:
  • Perform cross-functional duties such as resident relations and facilities management to support the turnaround of rooms, mass check-ins and other coordination work with the rest of the Hall Office team to provide a good residential experience.
  • Assist Co-ordinating Unit to reply ServiceNow tickets after release of hall application result.
  • Update and maintain accurate records to fulfill administrative and financial requirements.
  • Contribute to building a useful repository of best-practice templates for use to respond to common queries.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the People Manager.

Working Arrangement:

Location: 50 Nanyang Ave

Working Hours: Mondays - Fridays (office hours)

Salary: $3,000 - $3,600/Month

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 5.45pm

Friday, 8.30am – 5.15pm

Contract Duration: 6 Months


Job Requirements:

  • Diploma holders with at least 3 years relevant working experience preferably in a finance / billing role and customer service / relationship management.
  • Familiarity with the tertiary education or hospitality industry will be advantageous.
  • Experience in using hostel/resident management system will be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Microsoft Teams. Prior experience using SAP Ariba and ServiceNow would be advantageous.
  • Possess relationship-building and management skills – ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders, while having the discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Communication skills - Ability to interact (active listening, writing clearly and concisely) with parties from various expertise, levels and culture, understanding their interests and goals while exhibiting sensitivity and respect for diversity.
  • Strong reporting competencies – organized and meticulous in details for all reporting required, with an appreciation for information sensitivity and security.
  • Technologically inclined and willing to learn and adapt to customized IT systems.
  • Possess a keen eye for details – ability to observe details and relate observations to potential issues and problems.
  • Strong organisational and adaptation skills – ability to manage multiple and/or tight timelines, adaptable to react to changes in work.
