As they continue to expand and evolve, they are now looking to strengthen their leadership team with the appointment of an Assistant Vice President. This strategic hire will play a key role in driving business growth, innovation, and excellence, and we are seeking an exceptional candidate to join their dynamic team.
Your new role
A few of your responsibilities would be;
· Serve as the primary point of contact between facilities management and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
· Lead complex projects, including construction, renovations, and technology upgrades, from planning to delivery.
· Develop and execute a strategic vision for facilities management and engineering, aligning with organizational goals.
· Drive sustainability initiatives and innovative solutions to enhance facility performance and reduce environmental impact.
· Oversee the daily operations of all facilities, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance.
· Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment and driving professional growth.
· Manage budgets, track expenses, and identify areas for cost optimization.
· Ensure regulatory compliance, implement safety protocols, and maintain emergency response plans.
· Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring quality service delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Architecture).
· At least 12 years in facilities management and engineering, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
· Proven leadership and team management expertise.
· Strong project management, budgeting, and cost analysis skills.
· In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
· Ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage large-scale projects and facilities.
· Experience in Sustainability and de-carbonization reporting.
