The Manager, Information Technology and Media Resources (ITMR), plays an important role in advising and supporting the school management team in the planning and execution of the school’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) plans. You will also work closely with MOE IT Division to implement new ICT initiatives to support a connected ICT learning ecosystem for anytime and anywhere learning.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Take on the “enterprise IT” duties required in school which includes
- ICT administration such as planning for the deployment of SSOE provisions, asset management, ICT procurement and system administration
- Coordinating for the implementation of HQ-driven ICT projects within school
- Improving cybersecurity postures
- Maintaining and updating the School Website and School Portal
Support the planning and execution of school ICT plans which includes
- Assisting Head of Department (HOD) ICT to consolidate requirements into an ICT plan with inputs from both internal and external stakeholders
- Working with HQ-based ICT Partners and providing advice to school team on suitable ICT tools and applications embedded into the school ICT plans
- Tracking the usage of ICT funding and supporting HOD ICT to provide adequate solutions to monitor utilisation
Support teachers in adopting good ICT in teaching and learning (T&L) practices, which includes
- Collaborating with teachers on exploring ICT tools and applications for use during T&L
- Aligning ICT practices with the school’s and MOE HQ’s ICT plans and directions
- Advising teachers on relevant security and data considerations and policies when using ICT for T&L
Ensuring the smooth operations of the school library
- Manage library facilities, staff, and necessary support systems, including overseeing the procurement of new library materials such as ebooks
- Work with English Department to promote reading amongst students, including the support of library events and programmes
Requirements:
Basic
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous individual who can multi-task and work independently
Advantageous
- Polytechnic diploma or above holder
