Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement operations and function, including the review of Purchase Request, Purchase Order, tender documents and other procurement-related submissions
- Work closely with user departments to understand their requirements, review tender specifications and formulate procurement approaches appropriate for the purchases
- Review tender evaluation/recommendation reports to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Provide advice touserdepartments on procurement policies and processes ina timelymanner
- Ensure periodic updates of training documents and conduct procurement briefings to user departments
- Review procurement policies and procedures and identify process improvements
- Implement e-Procurement system to streamline and automate procurement processes
- Participate in audit reviews and work with internal stakeholders to resolve gaps identified
- Contribute toother tasks or duties as assigned by the Director Finance
Requirements:
- Possess 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, with 3 years in supervisory role
- Good analytical abilities, writing, communication and presentation skills for stakeholder persuasion and management reporting
- Independent, resourceful individual with ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
