(A) Job Summary:
The Coordination Manager shall take charge of all coordination works of civil & structural, architectural & SWCs and is responsible to manage project coordination/interface related to civil/structural, architectural and E&M installation.
(B) Essential Job Functions:
The Coordination Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Apply contemporary practices in construction methodology to complete assigned works in compliance with client expectations, company objectives and all contractual obligations.
- Authorize construction planning, programming and completion schedules. Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Prepare and deliver regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, facilitating communication between project team members and stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation, monitoring and review of a construction management plan.
- Monitor progress, ensuring that work quality and techniques are of high standard and report regularly on project performance and cost against company objectives.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with a recognised Engineering Degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing Civil & Structure, Architectural and/or E&M Building Services works for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work, including addition and alteration works.
- Experience in managing interfaces for design and construction of transit projects.
- Having full understanding of the design and approval process as well as BCA TFP/TOP process.
- Candidates must have LTA/ MRT/ rail projects background.

(E) Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
- Good knowledge of government regulations relating to Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental areas.
- Familiar with CONSSAS/ISO documentation.
- Adept in using MS Office, especially, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Excellent English communication and written skill (To liaise with Government Authorities, clients and associates).
- Must be able to work under pressure.
