As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical support to the Engineering department. In this exciting role, you will handle on the following scope
What You Will Do
- Participate in detailed design and development of mechanical paths.
- Responsible for creating original mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Create plans and designs using CAD technology.
- Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs.
- Improve production processes and equipment to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability.
- Liaise with external suppliers on the development of equipment specifications, estimate budgets and time scopes for each project.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
- Responsible for upkeeping the drawing database.
What You Must Have
- Degree in Precision / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant working experience in mechanical parts design for a manufacturing environment
- Preferably 1–2 years of design experience in SolidWorks or similar software
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
- Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
