Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all communications matters related to the department, including developing and producing communications and editorial materials and collaterals, digital content creation and uploads for website and social media platforms, and key events and programmes such as Open House, Admissions and Commencement, conferences, the launch of new postgraduate programmes and other initiatives.
- Manage the editorial, production and dissemination of the company’s newsletter publisher three times a year in April, August, December.
- Manage filming and photography requests
- Coordinate input from the department that informs tasks, when required
- Track and compile the communications budget
- Assist with press publicity initiatives to raise the profile of the department
- Assist with general digital and social media content development and production
- Monitor media coverage
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in fields related to media or corporate communications is preferred
- Strong writing abilities for corporate communications functions (eg relevant to media relations, internal communications, publications etc)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Basic knowledge and experience in using Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Canva.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress and photography/videography skills will be advantageous.
- Prior experience in journalism, corporate communications and/or marketing and the healthcare sector is a plus.
