Work location: Seng Kang
Responsible for project engineering and coordination work in a Light Rapid Transit Project.
• Coordination with client, PTO,SWCs, Consortium Partner and other stake holders
• Responsible for preparation site engineering documents, supervise sitework
Job responsibility
• Prepare the technical document including the drawings for LRT project site works.
• Interface with client and other party including Civil Contractor for design and construction matters.
• Review the detailed design document and shop drawings under design function.
• Support procurement to do the construction work on site including the preparation of Inquire Specification
• Support management and control of all on-site construction activities
• Support management and control of all on-site supervisory personalities
• Ensuring that all drawings, instructions and/or activity plans used as the basis of activities on site are reasonably compliant with interface requirements as established in the approved Interface Management Plan
• Support oversight management of the work of all subcontractors
• Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contracts
• Ensuring strict adherence by all site personalities to the safety policies and practices as defined in the approved Safety Plan
• Ensuring strict adherence by all site personalities to the quality assurance policies and procedures as defined in the approved Quality Assurance Plan
• Ensuring the progress of the Works remains on schedule, and that the schedule accurately reflects the actual state of progress
• Preparation of final as-built drawing which also reflects the changes at site, and send these to the Engineering Manager
• Support of troubleshooting and close out the defect items
• Provide all the support and assistance to the Project Manager and Engineering Manager as required
Job requirement
• Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Civil Engineering (Graduate)
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in MRT/LRT system
• Professional knowledge of construction and site supervision of LRT System
• Knowledge of Project Management
• Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with multiple stakeholders including superiors, colleagues, contracted staff and individuals both inside and outside the organization
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Offices, AutoCAD, 3DTrue View and etc.)
