Job Description
- Assist the MD and Senior Project Manager in overseeing and leading assigned projects to completion
- Participate in site showrounds, tender exercises and site meetings wherever possible
- Ensure that projects and programs are according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
- Ensure the execution of the project in compliance with approved drawing and specifications requirements.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and meet up regularly with project site supervisors and workers
- Advise in product quality and costings
- Well-versed in project works procedures and methodologies and able to coordinate a team of different disciplines to achieve the best results.
- Troubleshoot problems that come up during operations
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the smooth execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, building managers, vendors and suppliers
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Take an ownership mindset and work cost-effectively and diligently.
- Maintain good conduct and good relationship with Client as a company representative.
- Maintain good communication with all staff and workers
- Any other ad-hoc projects assigned to you from time to time
Requirement
- Diploma/Degree in Architectural, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience in Project coordination and management.
- Knowledge and passion in interior fit-out and builders works for retail and commercial space with at least 3 year of working experience in retail and commercial fit-out environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge in Autocad is useful
- Hands-on, proactive and taking ownership of projects under his/ her responsibility
- Honest, creative, well-organise and able to make decisions for different scenarios
- Some commitment during odd-hours/ weekends or Public Holiday is required, depending on project needs
- Local working experience is a preferred
