JOB SCOPE
The role of the Room Attendant is to ensure that the rooms are well cleaned and tidy ready to sell to the guests.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check and stock up all the necessary linens and supplies required for the day.
- To check all room status is the same as on the Room Attendant daily report. To report any discrepancy found to the Supervisor immediately.
- Responsible for cleaning a minimum of fifteen (15) rooms daily.
- eplenish all amenities according to the Operational Standards.
- 5. Perform rotation cleaning duties (thorough cleaning, shampoo carpet cleaning etc) as required.
- Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance of her/his work area and ensure security of guestrooms and privacy of guests.
- Check and report faulity items that needed repair to the Floor Supervisors/Housekeeping office while in the process of cleaning the guestrooms.
- Check Room Safe and set dials for check-out and vacant clean rooms.
- Report and hand in any Lost and Found items to the Floor Supervisors/Housekeeping office.
- Check and record the number of soiled linen correctly and enter it in the Linen Changing list before exchange for clean linens at the Linen Room.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or related field.
- Able to understand the communicate in simple English to communicate with guests and in work.
- Knowledge in use of vacuum clearner and proper chemicals handling.
- Functional knowledge in room cleaning.
- Hardworking team player with pleasant personality.
