Refer PTE. LTD. (UEN: 202238989M) is an innovative education start-up founded in November 2022. We provide professional services to students who aim to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees overseas, for example, in the United States. Our main business includes online and in-person classes that prepare students for standardized tests, including GRE®, TOEFL iBT®, and IELTS™. We are currently developing ReferAI, a cutting-edge AI-based educational platform designed to enrich students' learning experiences and improve their performance on standardized tests.

As part of our expansion into the AI sector, we are actively seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the development of ReferAI. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong passion for technology and education, capable of building scalable, reliable, and efficient systems that empower students to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the product team to design and implement features for the ReferAI platform.
- Build, test, and deploy scalable backend services.
- Optimize system performance and ensure high availability.
- Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration with various educational tools.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in software engineering and AI.
Basic Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and agile methodologies.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Experience in building educational platforms or similar technologies is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with US educational systems and standardized tests is a plus.
- A passion for using technology to solve real-world educational challenges.
