Job Description
The Server and network Administrator works closely with the IT Management and is responsible for Support Servers network Infrastructure provide direction, planning, implementing to facilitate and support the Organizations vision and plan. Provide guidance for the IT support colleagues, documentation to have shadow coverage within the team. The Candidate is responsible for ensuring high levels of uptime and availability, and in addition, evaluates and advises on all technology components, such as software and hardware capabilities for server, systems and applications.
Candidate with enterprise first mindset and attitude to pick improvements/projects for the organizations improvement. Work with vendors and subsidiary organizations to ensure a high level of service. Willingness to learn new areas of technology including cloud (AWS)
Responsibilities
- Network Server Support for Singapore Thailand.
- Maintain network servers and associated hardware, software, services, and settings working with Vendor
- Recommend, test, and implement system and security upgrades
Consistently monitor and troubleshoot network stability and performance
Create, adjust, and maintain network user settings and permissions. - Write technical support documentation for server/network systems and applications.
Skills :
- Windows Server, Virtual Machine knowledge
- Excellent business continuity and disaster recovery methodologies and practice
- Firewall, Web filtering Knowledge
- Working Knowledge/awareness of Active Directory, VPN, SharePoint, OneDrive.
- End Point Management tools knowledge.
Education and Training
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or relevant field.
- MCP, MCSE and MCITP; Networking qualifications or equivalent eg CCNP will be added advantage.
