The ideal candidate will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot, the company's infrastructure. They will work alongside other team members to ensure highest levels of performance and ability, and manage any problems that arise.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor systems and infrastructure
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Monitor and perform External, Internal SFTP and Service Scheduler tasks
- Manage and attend to Service Request and Incidents
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Provide Network Support, Security Appliance Support andTrouble-shooting.
- Provide configuration of Shared drives / SharePoints / OneDrives
- Provide Audit and Compliance Support and Provisioning
- Schedule and perform Operating Systems and Security patch management tasks
- Schedule and perform Deployment, Releases and Change management tasks
- Support and provisioning of IT Infrastructure related Projects, Products and Initiatives.
- Active role in Disaster Recovery Exercise
- Provide Level 2 and 3 Rotational Support
- Provide operational support on the 24/7 system
- Administration of the Active Directory
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows and Linux based environments as well as Redhat
- Experience in the administration of application stacks (e.g.Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Weblogic)
- Experience with virtualization (e.g. VMware)
- Experience with Cloud technology (e.g AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus
- Experience with Mac Operating Systems
- Comfortable for 24/7 standby
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
