Chinese Infant Teacher

1. Infant Care & Development

  • Provide high-quality care for infants aged 2 to 18 months, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
  • Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that stimulate their cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
  • Monitor infants' developmental milestones and provide regular updates to parents.

2. Chinese Language Immersion

  • Introduce and teach the Chinese language to infants through songs, stories, and interactive activities.
  • Foster a bilingual environment where infants are exposed to Chinese as a natural part of their daily routine.
  • Encourage early language acquisition by speaking, reading, and singing in Chinese.

3. Curriculum & Lesson Planning

  • Plan and implement infant care programs that promote learning through sensory play, exploration, and movement.
  • Develop activities that incorporate Chinese culture and traditions, making learning relevant and enjoyable for infants.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the individual needs and developmental stages of each infant.

4. Communication with Parents

  • Maintain open and regular communication with parents, providing them with updates on their child’s progress.
  • Offer guidance and support to parents regarding their child’s developmental needs and milestones.
  • Respond to parents’ inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

5. Safety & Hygiene

  • Ensure that all safety, health, and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to infant care and learning.
  • Follow proper procedures for diaper changing, feeding, and sanitizing toys and equipment.

6. Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and nurturing environment for infants.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and professional development sessions to improve teaching practices and care strategies.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in school events and activities.

7. Professional Growth

  • Stay updated with the latest early childhood education trends and practices, especially those related to infant care and language development.
  • Pursue continuous professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and effectiveness.
