Job Description
- Accurately pick and pack cooked food items according to order specifications.
- Ensure all food items are correctly labeled and packaged to maintain freshness and quality.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and packing of orders.
- Inspect packaging materials for quality and cleanliness before use.
- Organize and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring they meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the kitchen environment.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a food handling or packing role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing orders.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices and holds a food & hygiene certificate.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items when necessary.
