Responsibilities:
(a) Develop/Update and submit the BEP whenever there is a need to revise and update;
(b) Coordinate and collaborate on project wide BIM related matters with project stakeholders and with the interfacing contracts;
(c) Regular update and report on all BIM related activities’ progress and status to the SO;
(d) Oversee, coordinate, collaborate and manage PBC within the Contract;
(e) Coordinate and collaborate with the PBM and PBC of the interfacing contracts (where applicable);
(f) Verify and rectify all BIM related challenges and issues in the project;
(g) Establish, execute and manage the project delivery, proposed digital solutions adoption and innovations for the project;
(h) Establish, execute and manage the standard procedures and enhancement approaches for digital delivery processes, timelines and expected outcomes for BIM/ VDC/ IDD implementation in the project;
(i) Establish, execute and manage the approaches and mitigation plans for the adoption of best practices, processes and tools of BIM/ VDC/ IDD in the project;
(j) Establish, develop, execute and manage the approaches to comply the information and exchange information requirements with project stakeholders and with the interfacing contracts;
(k) Oversee and ensure on the compliance of the contract wide requirements relating to PIR and LTAEIR;
(l) Establish, execute and manage modelling and information exchange protocols for information sharing amongst project stakeholders and with the interfacing contracts;
(m) Establish and provide customised learning needs relating to digital solutions used in the projects, for the ease of the SO carrying out the submission reviews;
(n) Oversee and manage all BIM hardware and BIM Software to be used in the project, and to rectify issues relating to BIM hardware and BIM Software;
(o) Establish and manage the ICE Meetings’ resources, materials and schedules within the Contract and with the interfacing contracts, and to facilitate the ICE Meetings to achieve the best outcomes of the meeting’s objectives;
(p) Participate in all ICE Meetings to contribute and achieve the best outcomes of the meeting’s objectives for the Contract and with the interfacing contracts;
(q) Establish, execute and manage BIM Deliverables checks, procedures and schedule to detect discrepancies; reduce potential design/ construction issues and minimise resolution;
(r) Oversee, monitor and facilitate the regular checks to ensure the contents of the PIM and AIM are complying to the requirements of PIR, LTAEIR, LOIN and regulatory related compliances;
(s) Ensure and rectify all misalignment issues relating to geo-coordinates and orientation in all PIM and AIM for the project prior to submitting to the SO or information exchange with the InfP;
(t) Verify and rectify all misalignment issues found from the federated PIM and AIM within the Contract and with the interfacing contracts;
(u) Set up, oversee, update and manage the Contractor’s own CDE, BIM hardware and BIM Software, project specific templates and BIM Elements library used in the project;
(v) Establish, execute and manage the preventive and corrective measures, and mitigation plans to cyber secure the data and information residing at the Contractor’s CDE platform, in accordance to the requirements for LTA asset information models;
(w) Establish and perform the regular clash detection analysis for PIM, AIM and CCSM; and
(x) Track, monitor, rectify and verify all design/ construction conflicts found in the CCSM related deliverables.
Requirements:
· A Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering with at least 6 years of working experience in design engineering, construction engineering or Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) project management.
· 4 years of BIM experience as a Project level BIM Coordinator role in a large scale or infrastructure project and has completed one full project cycle at design phase or construction phase is an advantage.
· Qualifications:
(a) Certified with Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling (BIM) or
(b) Certified with Digital Delivery Specialist (DDM Tier 2) and
(c) any BIM authoring software’s modelling course by the software vendor’s authorised training provider.
· Conversant in one 4D or 5D software, and one coordination software such as Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360, etc., is an advantage.
