Job Purpose

Assist the Senior Manager, Admin & Procurement in the day-to-day administration of school and student matters.


Responsibilities

  • Review and implement school and student admin policies in compliance with statutory legislations
  • Maintain integrity of data in MOE, ITE and school systems and applications, prepare and maintain students’ files and ensure accuracy, compliance and confidentiality
  • Administer student admission processes from enquiry management to application
  • Administer activities related to student management, such as financial assistance, preparation of class registers, photo charts, TransitLink School Smart cards, attendance lists, transfer requests, renewal of student pass etc.
  • Support school management by collating and preparing student reports on school attendance, administering surveys, entrance tests and interviews
  • Provide secretariat support involving student results processing and progression, such as generating and printing progress reports, School’s Graduation Certificate, ITE Statement of Results etc.
  • Coordinate with external organizations/agencies to provide annual students’ health and dental checks, NRIC registration, food catering etc.
  • Use appropriate e-transaction portals to perform different e-transactions competently
  • Provide support to help ensure student’s wellbeing, such as administering first aid and chaperoning students to clinics/hospital
  • Perform front counter services, including attending to walk-ins and phone calls, as well as managing lost & found items
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, school activities and events
  • Support in Admin-related purchases, including preparation of purchase requests and evaluation of bids
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the needs of the students and act as role model to shape their values and behaviours positively through daily interactions
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor to provide administrative support to the General Office.

Requirements

  • Preferably with 3 years of relevant working experience in MOE schools
  • Proficient in Microsoft® Office applications
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Diploma in any discipline
