Responsibilities:
- Manage and assure customer product quality
- Review specification (product / corporate) / contract / quality agreement / quality manual of customer / suppliers
- Review and drive the overall performance of specification review
- Handle and monitor the progress of Initial Sampling Plan, APQP, PPAP05. Initiate the review of PFMEA, Control Plan, Risk Assessment, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instruction and Forms
- Manage customer complaints including defect verification, root cause analysis, Corrective Action Preventive Action, disposition (RMA) and payment
- Review and drive the overall performance of customer complaint performance
- Visit customer site for defect or process verification
- Organize customer visits and generate visit report
- Decide disposition of non-conforming product during Material Review Board
- Manage Process Change Management (PCN) and waiver (Engineering Waiver, Exeptional Approval Form)
- Manage and review customer performance ratings
- Prepare Quality Business Review report for key customer accounts
- Review and drive the overall performance of improvement plans, projects and technology roadmaps
- Provide technical support to customers
- Manage and maintain Quality Modules in SAP
- Conduct internal process and system audit
- Lead and organize customer audit (product / process / system)
- Lead and organize ISO audit and internal audit program
- Lead Quality Management Review meeting
- Conduct ISO / quality topic training plant wide
- Handle customer QMS query and Self Audit Checklist
- Attend to Customer Technical Query (RoHS, REACH, Technical Data, MSDS ) resolution
- Review Supplier ICP Test Report, MSDS, RoHS, REACH Warranty Letter and other banned substances related communication and technical information
- Implement CI activities & council meeting on Banned substances organizer (Cross-entity)
- Conduct supplier qualification and evaluation
- Manage and report supplier's quality performance
- Lead and organize supplier meeting / visit
- Manage supplier claims including claim raising, sample sending, 8D review, disposition and payment
- Submit monthly reports (Customer Quality / Supplier Quality / Quality System / Specification Review)
- Implement and upkeep Safety & 5S within the Quality Department
- Support/ Backup function to the peers and superior in his/ her absence
- Support any adhoc or special assignment by the immediate superior / Head of Department
Requirements:
- At least 5 years related experience in a similar capacity
- Diploma or Degree Holder in Material Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Precision Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Quality Management or equivalent engineering field
- Expert with MS Office (e.g. MS Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint Presentation)
- Expert on ISO Standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and ISO Internal Auditing
- Expert with Statistical Techniques and QC Tools (e.g. Fishbone Diagram, Why-Why Analysis, 3D/8D)
