The Role
As Product Manager, you’ll take charge of product planning and execution. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You’ll also ensure that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Gain a deep understanding of the customer persona. This will help you identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that grow market share, and improve the customer experience.
- Proactively engage with customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
- Develop a clear product strategy and vision, and generate strong buy-in internally and externally
- Translate product strategy into clear design and requirements
- Collaborate closely with the Product design team to develop prototypes
- Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
- Drive product feature launches to ensure high usage in collaboration with the Marketing team and key stakeholders
- Capture, measure, and analyze product data and other feature indicators, in order to make the appropriate adjustments to product strategy
Requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- At least 3 years of proven work experience in product management
- Proven ability to develop product strategies
- Strong technical background with clear understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies, in order to clearly understand what can and cannot be done
- Strong problem solving skills
- An MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is preferred
