Accounts Executive
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Posts customer payments by recording cheque transactions for processing receipts.
- Generate and send out monthly SOA to customers.
- Follow up and maintain AR reports.
- Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
- Prepare bank deposits
- Communicate with customers via phone and email
- Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, sales coordinator departments, and from customers.
- Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable.
- Process, verify and maintain invoices/payments and its related documents, and assist to follow up on discrepancies with customers and vendors
- Manage intercompany transactions and ensure intercompany balances tally across the books.
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (in order to liaise with Mandarin associates)
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations
- Relevant experience will be preferred
- Experience in using MYOB will be advantageous
- Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Motivated, independent and possesses initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills and high level of self-discipline
