Our client, a leading consumer healthcare manufacturing company based in Singapore, is renowned for producing popular household medicated oil. As part of their business expansion, they are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to drive growth and enhance customer satisfaction in the local Singapore market.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement key account strategies tailored to major customers’ needs.
  • Propose solutions that align with both company and customer objectives.

Sales and Operations Management:

  • Oversee sales and operational activities across the Singapore market.
  • Develop and execute effective strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research and store visits to gather insights and support sales strategies.

Product Placement:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance product placement and visibility in supermarkets, retail stores, pharmacy chains, travel retail, and tourist outlet chains.

Promotional Campaigns:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement and manage promotional campaigns.
  • Manage A&P budgets to ensure promotional expenses stay within allocated limits.

Contract Management:

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with key clients to secure mutually beneficial terms and foster long-term partnerships.

Performance Reporting:

  • Provide regular updates and performance reports on key account activities and sales performance to the Head of Sales.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management, with a proven track record in the FMCG industry; experience in the analgesic market is preferred.
  • Experience with Modern Trade and Pharmacy channel clients is advantageous; experience with travel retail, supermarkets, and convenience stores is also valuable.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the local Singapore market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in trade marketing and distributor management is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate effectively.
