• Conduct accurate quantity take-offs and measurements from architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with project teams to analyze and review project plans and identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents and subcontractor packages.
• Manage and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive prices and favorable terms for project materials and services.
• Provide expertise in contract administration, including preparing payment certificates, variations, and claims.
• Regularly monitor and report on project costs, highlighting any discrepancies or potential budget overruns.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports, cost forecasts, and cost-to-complete assessments.
• Work closely with other teams, such as architects, engineers, and project managers, to ensure smooth project delivery and cost-effective solutions.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to quantity surveying and cost management.
• Preparation of shop drawings and technical drawings for submission to consultants/Authority.
• Review shop drawings and technical drawings from subcontractor for submission to consultants/Authority.
