Job Responsibilities:
· Manage the technical team and to provide technical support to the engineering team in executive projects to ensure design specifications, method of statement and safety standards on the project.
· Investigate technical aspects and root cause of problems, to solve technical problems that arise to initiate corrective actions to rectify problems.
· Implement best practices in developing technical solutions.
· Developing preventative maintenance plans and providing support and measures to prevent recurrence of problems.
· Attend meetings with project and technical team to resolve the query raised by clients.
· Able to work independently and being proactive in responding to issues.
· Oversees the project, to implement and execute works according to standards and specifications, and ensure the project is completed on schedule.
· Liaising with relevant stakeholders and local Authorities to facilitate timely completion of the project.
· Any other tasks as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics /Electronic//Electrical/ mechanical/Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
- At least 8-10 Year(s) of Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) working experience is required for this position.
- Required language(s): English, Mandarin fluency in written and spoken (to coordinate with the Chinese speaking client, supplier, contractor etc.)
- Required skill(s): MS Office and drawing software.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- A team player with strong passion in project management, technical management.
- Self-motivated and able to leverage on team.
- Resourceful, meticulous, able to multi-task and handle pressure well.
