Your new role
In this Market Risk position, you will play a crucial role in monitoring Treasury’s trading activities and portfolio risk profiles to ensure compliance with risk limits. You will be responsible for preparing accurate risk information and reports, highlighting and escalating any breaches or issues to relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you will conduct market stress testing, develop and update internal risk guidelines, and enhance risk management reports and controls.
What you'll need to succeed
In order for you to be successful in this position you will have:
- At least 2 years of related working experience within the Banking industry specifically within the Market Risk Management space
- A good understanding of various financial products
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel such as VBA (Macros are an added advantage)
- Effective communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
