1. OBJECTIVE(S)
The role is to design, install, and maintain computer systems and networks. This includes configuring hardware and software, ensuring network security, router, switches, firewall connectivity, troubleshooting infra issues, optimizing network performance, and upgrading systems to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
2. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide onsite network and systems support in any of Ren Ci Hospital’s sites
- Troubleshoot complex network and systems problems and provide recommendations for resolution
- Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists (ACLs)
- Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures
- Support administration of systems (Active Directory, Email) when required
- Manage and monitor IT network assets and inventory (Deployment, service, tech refresh, retirement)
- Responding in a timely manner to support incidents and requests
- Manage vendors for support, repair or break fix services
- Support the execution of network hardware & firmware upgrades with vendors
- Work with respective IT teams to resolve open issues/defects. Resolve bottlenecks in performance, ensuring smooth executing of IT deployments
- Provide support to department initiatives or any other tasks assigned by the reporting officer(s)
- Regular work hours and standby support (After-hours support and onsite activation to attend to break fix incidents)
- Travel between Ren Ci Hospital’s sites to provide network related support on ad hoc or scheduled basis
- Able and willing to work extended hours on Network / Server Setup / Migration deployment projects
Requirements
1. QUALIFICATIONS
- At least a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any relevant field
- MCSE, CCNP & CCNA/CCNP Certification would be advantage
2. EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years of experience providing network & systems operational support.
- Hands on experience with network devices, firewall, switches and routers, load balancers, web application firewall
3. SKILLS
- Knowledge in network routing, switching technologies and protocols (i.e. TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Knowledge in network security and technologies
- Knowledge in Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Microsoft 365)
- CCNA/CCNP and other network related certifications will be an advantage
- Strong team player with service-oriented attitude and customer focus; strong problem solving and analytical skills and learning capability and committed to self-development
- Able to adapt to changes and have flexibility in performing the support role
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
