We are looking for service-oriented individuals to oversees the development, operation and maintenance of Government cemeteries, crematoria and columbaria. You will be stationed at Choa Chu Kang Cemetery and will play a key role in providing after-death care service.
Job responsibilities include :
Assist in traditional soil burial or the Crypt Burial System burials:
1) Soil Burial
Assist in supervison for :
Manual digging of burial plot when necessary
Prepare grave plot for burial
Backfill burial plot after burial
2) CryBurial System Burial
Assist in opening of the burial crypt covers
Signal and direct the lifting machine operator during the lifting operation
Prepare grave plot for burial
Backfill burial plot after burial
Job Requirements :
- Physically fit
- Able to handle digging tools
- Able to speak and understand simple English
- Willing to work in after-death care service environments
- High degree of compassion, integrity, and emotional intelligence
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Able and willing to work on weekends and public holidays
- Able to work independently as well as in teams
