Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the full suite of M&E Quantity Surveyor duties from:
Tender to pre-contract
Post contract administration duties
- Handle the tendering process such as
Measurement
Sourcing and selecting of subcon quotation
Preparing bills of quantities
Technical data
Unit rates particularly for M&E disciplines
- Carry out the necessary preparation and arrangement for tender submission
- Preparation of progress claims, variation orders, verifying subcontractor / suppliers claims
- Liaise with Consultants, Architects and relevant authorities in all construction related matters
- Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered
- Review, co-ordinate and generate subcontractor’s M&E shop drawings as and when necessary
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
You are passionate, creative, an achiever, highly self-motivated and an independent individual who is detailed oriented, possess strong skills relevant to the scope of work; able to work in a team and independently, possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to perform under tight schedule and pressure.
- Diploma/Degree in QS course, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Demonstrate proficiency and competency in a project QS function and can work independently.
- Able to converse with English and Chinese speaking clients, contractors and vendors to complete projects effectively.
- Local working experience needed.
