We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven E-commerce Manager to join our fast growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive online sales and improve the overall performance of the company's e-commerce platform. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce site, optimizing user experience, and implementing marketing strategies to increase traffic, conversion rates, and revenue. The E-Commerce Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless and effective online shopping experience.
You will also be responsible for:
- E-Commerce Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Manage the overall performance of the e-commerce platform, including website functionality, user experience, and product presentation.
- Analyze and report on e-commerce metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention. - Website Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website, ensuring smooth functionality and an optimal user experience.
- Coordinate with IT and development teams to resolve technical issues and implement website enhancements.
- Manage website content, including product listings, images, descriptions, and promotions. - Digital Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales, including email marketing, paid search, social media, and display advertising.
- Optimize campaigns based on performance data and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement promotional strategies, including discounts, sales events, and special offers. - Customer Experience and Engagement:
- Enhance the online shopping experience by implementing strategies to improve website usability, navigation, and customer service.
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Develop strategies to increase customer engagement and loyalty, including personalized recommendations and targeted marketing. - Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of e-commerce strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on e-commerce performance, including sales metrics, traffic sources, and customer behavior.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize e-commerce initiatives. - Vendor and Inventory Management:
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate product availability and fulfillment.
- Manage inventory levels and product assortment to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure efficient order processing and delivery. - Budget and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, including advertising spend, technology investments, and other operational costs.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, profit margins, and return on investment (ROI) for e-commerce initiatives.
- Implement cost-effective strategies to achieve financial goals while maximizing revenue. - Innovation and Trends:
- Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Identify opportunities for new technologies, tools, or strategies to enhance e-commerce operations and performance.
- Implement and test new features or functionalities to improve the online shopping experience.
We would want to speak with you if you are / have –
- Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in e-commerce or digital marketing is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce management or a related role, with a proven track record of driving online sales and optimizing e-commerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and content management systems (CMS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
It would be great if you have:
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
- Familiarity with SEO, PPC, and social media advertising.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and website optimization.
