We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Finance Manager/Accountant to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the company’s financial operations within Singapore & Hong Kong entity, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Oversee consolidated group reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS and other relevant standards.
- Taxation: Manage all taxation matters, including planning, compliance, and liaising with external auditors and tax authorities.
- Audit: Lead internal and external audits, ensuring robust financial controls and processes are in place.
- Investment Industry Focus: Handle financial operations specific to the investment industry, providing insights and recommendations based on industry trends and financial data.
- Leadership: Act as the key person within the Accounting department, driving performance, fostering a collaborative team environment, and developing strong cross-functional relationships.
- Strategic Planning: Support senior management in strategic decision-making through accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Compliance:Ensure all financial activities comply with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: CA/CPA qualification or relevant professional certification.
- Experience: Extensive experience in financial management, with a strong background in the investment industry.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in consolidated group reporting, IFRS, taxation, audit, and financial analysis.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading finance teams, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the company’s financial growth and stability.
