Job Title: Temenos Product Owner - Payments and Private Banking
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Temenos Product Owner with a strong focus on payments within the private banking sector. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) and a thorough understanding of private banking operations. This role demands a visionary leader capable of translating complex business requirements into innovative solutions, driving product strategy, and delivering value to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for payment solutions within the private banking sector, leveraging Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) capabilities. Align the product roadmap with business objectives and customer needs.
- Requirement Gathering & Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, business analysts, and development teams, to gather, document, and prioritize requirements. Convert business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Private Banking Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of private banking processes and payment systems to ensure that the product meets the specific needs of high-net-worth individuals and private banking clients.
- TPH Implementation: Lead the implementation and optimization of Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing banking systems and processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between business units, clients, and development teams, ensuring alignment on product goals and effective communication of requirements and deliverables.
- Agile Development Leadership: Oversee the Agile development process, managing the product backlog, conducting sprint planning, and ensuring that development teams have a clear understanding of priorities. Utilize tools such as JIRA to track progress and manage workflows.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in the review and validation of product specifications, conducting functional testing to ensure that delivered features meet high standards of quality and functionality.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Identify potential risks and ensure that the product complies with industry regulations and standards, particularly within the private banking sector.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product owners and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in payments and private banking. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance product offerings and streamline development processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Domain Expertise: Strong background in private banking and payment systems, with deep knowledge of Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) and related Temenos Transact modules.
- Product Ownership Experience: Proven experience in product ownership, particularly in financial technology, with the ability to define and execute a strategic product vision.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with the implementation and integration of Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) within private banking environments.
- Agile Methodologies: Proficient in Agile methodologies and experienced with project management tools such as JIRA.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a passion for mentoring and developing junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in product management, business analysis, or project management, particularly within the financial services industry.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with regulatory compliance and understanding of industry standards in private banking.
- Additional Expertise: Proficiency in additional Temenos modules or other payment systems used in private banking.
