As Marine Engine Fitter/Technician, you will be part of the technical team specializing on repair and maintenance, overhaul and marine engines and machinery equipment.
Job Responsibilities and duties may include but not limited to the following:
- Understand the scope of repair work and comply with customer requirements and timeline
- Organize and perform the tasks as per manual and standard procedure
- Assist in preparing service report and timesheets
- Strictly adhere to safe work procedures and applicable regulations
- Participate in skills upgrading training and programs
Requirements
- Technical qualification or diploma in mechanical or marine engineering
- At least 2 years of service experience of 2 stroke and 4 stroke diesel engines or dual fuel engines
- Good understanding of Singapore marine shipyard and shipping sector
- Team player with excellent safety record and good communication skills to deal with diverse team
- Able to work long or odd hours to meet vessel requirement, including weekend or holiday
