Our client is a payments infrastructure company that powers payment systems for large online merchants, banks, and fintechs across the world through its Payment Orchestration & SDK solutions. We process more than 130 million transactions daily and are the largest payment orchestration provider in the world. You would have used Our client while paying in merchants like Agoda, Indigo, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc. We are a Series C funded startup backed by marquee investors like Softbank, Accel, VEF, and Wellington.
As a part of our next growth phase, we have expanded our operations in the Southeast Asia region. With our deep expertise in building payment products for the last 12+ years, we are working towards solving payment challenges for online merchants and aim to become the preferred payment orchestration partner for them in the market. For this, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive our growth and market penetration in Southeast Asia.
This role is based out of Singapore and the candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our client’s footprint in the region. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to establish partnerships, acquire new clients, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the payments industry, strong relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead end-to-end business development process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
● Build and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders across potential client organizations.
● Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and technical teams to shape product roadmap for the market.
● Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors to identify opportunities and challenges.
● Represent Juspay at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand awareness and foster business relationships.

Requirements:
● Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) required.
● 2 - 7 years of work experience (sales/ account management/ business
development-related background with fintech companies or payment gateways would
be a plus)
● Existing networks and relationships within the Southeast Asia payments ecosystem
is desirable.
● Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin, Bahasa
Indonesia, or Thai is a plus.
● Willingness to travel (even on short notice) across countries in the region to meet
prospective or existing merchants.
