Job Description & Requirements
Job Responsibility
The role is primarily responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in the day-day operations of the SeaCabbie fleet. In supporting the role will be responsible to manage the counter operations and assist in crewing matters under the guidance of the Operations manager.
Job Accountability
Operations
· Organise and manage the counter operations, including the rostering of staff, their performance monitoring and attendance.
· Handle the performance and disciplinary matters of the counter staff.
· Manage the handling of parcels related to the client orders.
· Assist in sourcing outsource resources (boats, freelance crew) when required.
· Perform counter duties on shifts when required.
· Assist with operational requirements of the fleet.
Teamwork
· Assist with handling of crewing matters.
· Train & Mentor, the counter staff to assure their job proficiency and support their development.
· Understudy the role of operations manager for self-development.
Safety & Compliance
· Ensure all procedures are followed in handling of client orders and counter staff are aware and comply with the requirement.
· Assist in conducting investigations, especially those related to counter operations.
Customer Service
· Ensure counter staff can provide customer service standards in their dealing with the clients, as per company expectations.
Miscellaneous
· Provide support for company projects as per instructions from Operations manager.
Any other task as assigned by Operation manager.
Educational/Skills Qualification
- Diploma or equivalent in maritime or logistics related field.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the harborcraft, maritime or logistics sector
- Able to work independently.
- Fluent in spoken English
