The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of any assigned projects which has a beginning, an end and specified deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the start-to-finish delivery of StarHub WAN services projects
- Responsible for maintaining a level of quality of delivery of projects and according to agreed schedules and clients requirements
- Actively plans and manages project scope, schedules and resources
- Leads diverse teams of stakeholders, either on specific projects in the short or long term or with regard to several projects on an ongoing basis
- Identifies, assesses, manages the risks of the project and takes appropriate prevention action
- Prevents project scope creep or mitigates it when it occurs, manage changes in clients requirements to Change Control processes, schedule slippage, technical problems and resources
- Works closely with business/product managers, development and support teams to ensure end objectives are met
- Ensures timely submission of reports for projects
- Manages and build existing client relationships
Requirements
- University or Polytechnic graduate in Information Technology, Engineering or related disciplines. Relevant experience without the required educational portfolio can be considered
- Certifications in PMP, PRINCE2 or CITPM is preferred
- Minimum 3-4 years of Project Management experience in a telco environment handling medium to large scale fixed services projects
- Experienced in managing government WAN / LAN projects
- Ability to demonstrate experience in managing diverse groups of stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to influence all levels of stakeholders
- Result-oriented, with energy and able to deliver in a very fast-paced environment
