Responsibilities
- Supervise the construction and related works, maintain quality control and site records
- Monitor contractors’ schedules, day works, site progress, etc.
- Keep and review records of works including materials, samples, site equipment, inspections, test reports and ensure proper documentation.
- Observe and comply with site safety, and submit all reports as directed and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner.
- Upon completion of the construction works, inspect and prepare the lists of defects, of any.
- Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the project specifications, drawings, approved sketches, product or system specifications, contractor’s method statements, installation and working procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from Singapore Polytechnic or other tertiary institutions of equivalent standing.
- Registered as Resident Technical Officer with BCA/IES/ ACES.
- At least 5 years of site supervision experience as Resident Technical Officer.
- National Certificate on Construction Supervision from BCA Academy or equivalent.
