Since 2013, Joy Music Studio is an established music school in Marine Parade offering a variety of instrument choices and professionally equipped studios, we are known for our enthusiastic teachers and customized approach for learners.
We are currently looking for warm and caring Music Teachers (Full-Time/Part-Time) to join our joyful team at our Marine Parade location. We have available positions for:
- Piano Teacher
- Vocals Teacher
- Guitar Teacher
- Violin Teacher

Our music teachers are expected to:
· Commitment levels: Full-Time 42 hours/week, Part-time 30 hours/week
· Available to teach on weekends and weekday afternoons/evenings
· Customize learning plans and prepare lessons based on students' goals and global curriculums (ABRSM, Trinity, Rock School)
· Prepare students for music exams, competitions, or performances
· Proactively communicate with parents regarding student progress (verbal, written, and videos)
· Motivate students with creative and fun teaching techniques
· Proactively contribute to the piano curriculum, programs, workshops, and best practices
· Support colleagues in creating a safe and fun learning environment
· Attend staff meetings and teacher training sessions
· Work collaboratively with other colleagues for camps, mock exams, workshops, concerts, events
· Assist in marketing activities related to promoting the school
· Assist in front desk and administration tasks (helping hand or relief)
We’d love to hear from you if:
· You hold a Music Degree or Diploma in your primary instrument
· Bonus - Grade 8 Certification in a second instrument (Piano, Violin, Guitar, Vocals, Drums)
· Have at least 1 year of teaching experience in individual and group settings with kids
· You smile A LOT, and have a bright and cheerful personality with confident communication skills
· You love working with young children and can offer related experience in teaching, customer service, or working with children
