Job Description
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple retail stores within the assigned district.
- Ensure all stores maintain a consistent level of operational excellence, aligning with standards.
- Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets for each store, driving store profitability and productivity.
- Analyze sales reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead, coach, and develop store managers to ensure high levels of employee performance, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide training and mentoring to store managers and staff on products, brand values, and sales techniques.
- Ensure all stores adhere to visual merchandising guidelines and standards, creating a consistent brand image.
- Work closely with the visual merchandising team to ensure store layouts and displays are attractive and drive sales.
- Ensure that all stores provide a high level of customer service, resolving any escalated customer service issues effectively.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer shopping experience and customer retention.
- Monitor inventory levels, shrinkage, and stock turnover rates to ensure effective stock management across all stores.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and ensure the protection of company assets.
- Ensure all stores comply with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure operational compliance and to provide feedback on improvements.
- Manage the district’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and optimizing resource allocation.
- Collaborate with senior management to prepare and review store budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Coordinate and implement district-wide promotional activities and marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
- Work with the marketing team to localize and adapt global campaigns to suit the local market.
The Successful Applicant
- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a multi-store or district management role, preferably in fashion, footwear, or lifestyle brand
