Job Title: Senior Oil Cargo Trading Operator (Clean Petroleum Products - CPP)

Company Overview:
Our client is a growing company, with assets in the oil trading industry. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Senior Trading Operator to join their team and support the traders in managing the operational aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end operational process for Clean Petroleum Products (CPP), including middle distillates such as jet fuel, gasoil, and light ends.
- Coordinate vessel nominations, shipping logistics, and product deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate execution of trades.
- Collaborate with traders, charterers, and external counterparties to resolve operational issues, delays, or disputes.
- Manage cargo documentation, including bills of lading, letters of credit, and inspection certificates.
- Liaise with shipping agents, inspectors, and terminal operators to ensure smooth loading, discharging, and delivery of cargoes.
- Monitor inventory and demurrage exposure, optimizing the scheduling of deliveries and minimizing costs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal operational standards.
- Assist in maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and service providers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in operations within the oil trading industry, particularly in Clean Petroleum Products (CPP) and middle distillates.
- Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, vessel operations, and cargo documentation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with traders and third parties.
- Experience in managing cargo scheduling, inventory control, and demurrage.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
