Purpose of job
We are looking for an accountable System Integrator to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that the project involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. He/She must be able to perform System Integration related tasks. Has the ability to use, install and configure different software extensively. The candidate participates in the realization of high systems technology in the field of biometrics applied to security or border control applications.
Main responsibilities
During all the stages of the implementation phase of the project, the System Integrator role include but not limited to the followings:
1. Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering tasks.
2. Coordinates the technical implementation tasks that include hardware, server/workflow installation and workstation.
3. Definition of the integration platform & installation of the system: Windows PC, specific devices such as biometric sensors, complex software modules, CCTV and any other related components.
4. Perform system integration test, system validation test, load and performance test and high availability test.
5. Derive, define and create the necessary project UAT test plan and tests scenarios. This includes creating and preparing the necessary data. Ensure requirement traceability and complete coverage.
6. Perform User Acceptance Test and System Acceptance Test with customer.
7. Work with equipment vendors and product developers to investigate on the issues by analyzing logs during test execution, report incidents through defect tracking tool and monitor them until closure.
8. Derive, define and create the necessary documentation related to installation, testing or operational and administration.
9. Monitor compliance to practices, policies, performance standards and specification
10. Perform overall quality control of the work especially for frontend deployment and report regularly on project status to the project manager.
11. Provides support during system trial, ORAT and Go Live.
12. Realizes software customization and integration test if required.
13. Provide training to customer and handover system to maintenance support team.
14. Any other duties as assigned.
Profile – Experience / qualifications / skills
1. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Software engineering / Information technology or related fields.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of related system integration experience.
3. Expertise in SOAP UI.
4. Experience in network domains (TCP/IP, HTTP) and security (TLS, WSS, PKI) is preferred.
5. Good knowledge in different OS like Windows, Windows server and Linux (RedHat) will be an added advantage
6. Experience with Ansible and JIRA will be an added advantage.
7. Be curious, versatile, dynamic, rigorous, great autonomy and a team player, as well as a spirit of analysis and synthesis.
