- Monitor infection rates, including Hospital Acquired Infection (HAI), CAUTI, etc
- Analyze infection data to identify trends, potential outbreaks and areas of improvement
- Develop and maintain surveillance systems for infection control and prevention (ICP)
- Develop policies in accordance with latest evidence-based guidelines and national policies/guidelines in the ILTC sector
- Perform audits and inspections to ensure infection control standards
- Conduct mask-fitting and all ICP related procedures for all new employees
- Work with relevant departments to ensure infection control protocols are adhered to
- Work with multidisciplinary team to implement infection control measures
- Provide staff education and patient education
- Give expert advice on ICP
- Support licensing and auditing process by MOHH
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma in Nursing
- Full registration with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in inpatient wards
- Familiar with infection control work
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills in working with both internal and external stakeholders
