Responsibilities
Provides key business information and analysis to business to enable expense, headcount and volumetric targets to be achieved and maintained. Monitors general ledger entries and processing streams to ensure the reliability of general ledger information Prepares and analyzes financial performance reports. Collaborates with department leaders in the development of capital, expense and personnel plans for forecasting and budgeting. Provides expertise on how to use financial data, the application of accounting guidelines, standards, procedures and policies. Ensures accounting practices are applied to analysis in an ethical and effective manner. Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
This position would be typically described as Senior Accountant, for example, responsible for posting complex accounting entries, reconciling complex accounts, etc.
- Project finance management: project cost estimates, invoice processing, monthly bookkeeping (accrual and reclassification), monthly financial stewardship reporting and project financial closeout (write-off and write-on of assets)
- Review fee proposal and ensure it is according to the vendor's service agreement (if applicable), seek client's DOAG approval, submit to procurement for PO creation meeting minutes documentation
- Support in developing Project Execution Plan, WBS, RACI, Tender Event Schedule (TES),RFI, Procurement Evaluation Plan, Project Financial Control Plan, and Project Financial Closeout Plan
- Quarterly and year-end management reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate / Finance / Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized University
- Possess at least 5-8 years of relevant working experience.
- Candidates with SISV and/or RICS professional membership will have an added advantage
- Good communication and writing skills
