Role Overview
This position is a critical team member of the Singapore L&D team. The Senior Executive will be responsible to deliver group learning and development programs to support local business strategies. The person will leverage the latest adult learning principles combined with business understanding to ensure learning is transferred and applied to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify training needs analysis by engaging with the respective stakeholders and develop a functional training roadmap.
- Design and formulate learning interventions based on the needs of the organization and performance gaps.
- Manage learning delivery to ensure a positive learning experience for all participating team members.
- Coach and support team members during learning delivery, building upon their knowledge and experience to ensure that they have the confidence to apply what they have learnt at work
- Monitor feedback from team members for continuous improvement of courses and program content.
- Provide feedback and evaluation with the L&D Team on the effectiveness of materials.
- Work together with L&D team members to track learning effectiveness and impact
- Promote and enhance learning participation via providing meaningful insights to the business using impactful data analysis
- Maintain expert knowledge of training programs logistic and systems usage.
- Translate group content into local languages and supplement with local examples where appropriate.
- Design and develop e-learning courses by using e-learning authoring tools and available technologies.
Objectives and Success Measurement
- Deliver learning and development solutions, classroom, virtual or e-learning, according to plan
- Gather constructive feedback from team members and managers of the training delivered
- Achieve the effectiveness metrics/measures of all learning and development solutions
Qualification and Experience Requirement
- Degree or Diploma in related field from university, local polytechnics or equivalent
- Certified with WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP)
- More than 2 years of experience in learning and development with successful experience delivering learning and development content through instructional design concepts, adult learning concepts, and technology
- Previous experiences with managing training data for mid- to large-sized organizations
- Good experience leveraging technology to deliver training in new ways; proficient in Microsoft suite of application tools.
- Good command of presentation skills in both training delivery and business meeting settings
