Key Job Accountabilities:
- Responsible for developing, creating, and updating special processes and work instructions in accordance with engineering drawings and specification.
- Responsible for maintaining and modifying the existing special processes to achieve technical and quality requirements
- Ensure compliance and best practice within the special processes to Nadcap and meeting customer requirements.
- Be the technical focal point for NADCAP audits including the planning, preparation, audit and follow-up of NCR's and corrective action
- Prepare the qualification of internal and suppliers of special processes.
- Conduct internal and supplier special process audits and manage corrective actions to ensure these are implemented within a timely manner
- Work closely with suppliers where quality performance has deteriorated to identify root cause of issues, compile action plan and resolve problems.
- Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encounter in their daily work
- Conduct new and continuation training & awareness of special processes with inspector and operator.
- Ensure all data, filing and records are kept up-to-date and comply with retention periods
- Participate in CI projects to reduce cost, improve quality and cycle time.
- Perform other duties as assigned by QAM
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Aerospace Engineering or other equivalent
- Preferably with experience in process, production and continuous improvement is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) in English
- Strong technical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Preferably certified NDT Fluorescent Penetrant
- Preferably certified 6G TIG Welding
- Preferably certified Heat Treatment
- Relevant experience in aerospace and manufacturing industry is a plus
