Responsibilities
- Prepare vessel sizing and prepare PV Elite calculation and GA drawings.
- Prepare/Review heat exchanger calculations and drawings and familiar about HTRI and HTFS calculations.
- Size vessels/tanks and check the vessel/tank sizing calculations submitted by vendor per relevant applicable codes and standards.
- Procurement assistance – preparation of RFQ’s, technical clarifications, vessel MTO and purchase specifications coordinating with various discipline engineers.
- Preparation of design calculations and preparation of drawings.
- Preparation of estimates during tendering.
- Follow-up with vendors and prepare/summarise technical bid evaluation.
- Liaise with clients, vendors and various agencies in EPC/ site environment in Oil & Gas sector.
- Attend client meeting and lead the project for all static equipment/ mechanical packages.
- Review of post order vendor documents by internal technical coordination between various disciplines to ensure vendor equipment design in accordance with discipline detail design.
- Make visit to site when necessary for collection of data, attending meeting at site, provide assistance in troubleshooting/construction issues.
- Attend shop inspection and test if required and report the details.
- Work within allocated budget and schedules, report and progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an Engineering-related field.
- Above 8 years of Mechanical Engineering experience in Oil & Gas/Engineering industry.
- Extensive work expererience in EPC environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing PV Elite calculations, GA drawings, and handling vessel/tank sizing and related calculations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and vendors.
