Job Description
- Elevate the overall brand reputation of the organisation by leading and executing communication campaigns to promote products, services, communities, or company initiatives
- You will ensure positive and accurate positioning of NTUC Club by engaging media to pitch story ideas and handle media queries
- You will prepare media materials such as media releases, messages, and talking points to ensure consistency and accuracy in messaging and positioning
- You will monitor media coverage and sentiments and organise media events when required
- Social media management, you will contribute content and articles for the website and LinkedIn, develop, update and maintain the corporate narrative and key messages, including employer branding, as well as, to increase brand visibility and engagement. Tracking social media performance, analysing data, and adjusting strategies to improve engagement and reach
- You will drive internal communications/employee engagement, developing strategies to keep employees informed and engaged through newsletters, teams share point, and other internal channels
- You will direct the production of publications such as Quadrennial Reports, newsletters and commemorative publications for corporate branding
- You will support senior executives’ and Business Units’ communications needs by preparing messages, speeches, talking points, quotes, FAQs and townhall presentations, and provide communications counsel and support in operational matters
- You will handle issues and crisis communications and update crisis statements
- You will handle feedback cases where required, work with other government agencies and charities to profile NTUC Club
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Mass Communications or related studies
- At least 6-7 years of relevant working experience in dealing with corporate communications and the media
- Exceptional communication, writing, copywriting and editing skills with strong critical thinking skills
- IT Savvy, in-tune with digital economy and familiar with managing digital public relations platforms
- Good project management skills to plan, track progress and ensure desired outcomes are achieved on time. Ability to work effectively with external vendors is important
- Ability to adapt and learn within a fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-functional, environment
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to timelines
