Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage network infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
- Oversee the deployment and management of firewalls, virtual machines (VMs), and VMware environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and vendors, to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
- Ensure the network infrastructure is scalable, secure, and meets organizational performance standards.
- Monitor project progress, handle escalations, and ensure project objectives align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
- Evaluate existing network infrastructure and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in firewall and network security.
- Manage project budgets and resources efficiently.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the IT team, ensuring the proper configuration and maintenance of virtual environments
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure management
- Thorough understanding of networking concepts,
- Strong in handling firewall (FW) requests and configurations
- Should have experience handling Virtual Machines
- Proficient with VMware technologies for virtualized environments
