Job Summary:

The Head of Admissions is responsible for evolving and executing the Admissions strategy to promote and maintain student enrolment and ensure Tanglin Trust School maintains its prominent position within the International School sector in Singapore.

The Head of Admissions is a member of the Business Team. The role reports to the Director of Marcomms, Admissions and Community Relations.

Requirements:

· Relevant qualifications and experience.

· A background in teaching, student assessment and/or selective admissions environment is highly desirable/beneficial.

· Excellent relationship building and people management skills in order to effectively manage the admissions team and build relationships with members of the Tanglin school community, and other International Schools in Singapore.

· Have a positive and passionate attitude towards the students, teachers and the Tanglin Community.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the school and its community.

· Outstanding analytical and computer skills. Familiarity with Open Apply is beneficial.

· Cultural awareness with the ability to relate to and work with individuals from a wide variety of cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds.

· The ability to be efficient, flexible and adaptable in a pressurized environment.

· Have a disciplined approach to timekeeping and attendance.

· Maintain a standard of personal presentation in keeping with the role.

· Collaborate with all team members working towards common goals.

· The ability to work independently to be self-motivated, proactive and forward thinking.

· Have a sense of humour.
